Walmart Energy seeks an MBA Intern to work with energy leaders on high-priority questions, frame choices, assess opportunities, and develop recommendations informing enterprise strategy, investments, partnerships, or new energy ventures. You will build market assessments, business cases, and strategic recommendations for energy investments or partnerships.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Willingness to relocate to Walmart’s Home Office in Bentonville, AR for internship and potential full-time
• Actively enrolled in a full-time MBA program
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and July 2028
• 3+ years of relevant pre-MBA experience in energy, infrastructure, finance, consulting, operations, technology, or related fields
• Strong strategic thinking, quantitative analysis, and financial modeling capabilities
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, synthesize findings, and communicate clear recommendations
• Collaborative working style, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
• MBA with concentrations in Finance, Strategy, Operations, Analytics, or related fields
• Energy Management, Renewable Energy, Sustainability, Environmental Policy, Engineering, or related disciplines

Responsabilités

• Develop market assessments, business cases, and strategic recommendations for energy investments, partnerships, or new customer offerings.
• Analyze project, portfolio, and financial data to surface insights and improve decision quality.
• Support commercial diligence, financial modeling, and executive-ready materials for strategic opportunities.
• Collaborate across Energy, Real Estate, Finance, Operations, Sustainability, and external partners to advance priority initiatives.
