Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking MBA interns for Summer 2026 across Charlotte, NC and Raleigh, NC, with potential opportunities at other footprint locations. Interns will work full-time for 10–13 weeks in a hybrid setting, collaborating with finance, renewables, and regulatory teams, while developing leadership and project-management skills

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an MBA program with anticipated graduation spring/summer 2027.
• Interest in energy industry and leadership experience.
• Experience directing cross-functional teams and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with summer projects across Duke Energy business units and interface with internal and external teams.
• Support development, finance, renewables, and natural gas initiatives as assigned.
• Contribute to Duke Energy's clean energy transition strategy.
