Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot and repair woodworking machinery and plant equipment to maximize production uptime. You will perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs across mechanical, electrical, dust collection, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

The role requires 2–5 years in industrial maintenance, with focus on cabinetry environments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years of industrial maintenance in woodworking/cabinetry preferred.
  • Proficiency in mechanical drive systems and electrical/pneumatic troubleshooting.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 10-hour night shifts in dusty environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot and repair woodworking machinery and plant equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, dust collection, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ensure safety compliance including LOTO and OSHA regulations.
  • Log parts and work orders in CMMS.

Come see why our associates love working at MasterBrand.Job Overview:The Night Shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing woodworking machinery and plant equipment to ensure maximum production uptime. This position performs both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, dust collection, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Shift & ScheduleHours: Night Shift – Four 10-hour shifts per week.Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday, 7:45 PM – 6:15 AM]Compensation Perks: Receive an additional $1.50/hour shift premium on top of the base pay rateKey ResponsibilitiesWoodworking Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industry-specific equipment including CNC routers, edgebanders, panel saws, grinder, automated sanders etc.Dust Collection & Air compressors: Monitor and service industrial dust collection systems, compressors and dryersProject work: Work order completion in between breakdowns.Electrical Troubleshooting: Interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to identify issues with sensors, switches, motors, and controls (up to 480V).Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), combustible dust hazard safety, and OSHA regulations.Data Logging: Track parts inventory and complete work orders inside a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).Required QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GED equivalent.Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally within a woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture manufacturing environment.Technical Aptitude: Strong proficiency in mechanical drive systems, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting.Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts, work in a dusty environment, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced Automation: Familiarity with PLC diagnostics (e.g., Allen-Bradley) for automated woodworking machinery.Certifications: Technical degree or trade certifications (e.g., industrial electricity, welding, or fabrication).Equal Employment OpportunityMasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
