Job summary

Rusco Manufacturing in Machesney Park, IL is seeking a skilled CNC lathe operator for the 1st shift. You will set up lathes, load materials, and run parts to meet daily production goals while ensuring quality and tool life.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and turning centers to meet daily production goals.
• Load raw materials and remove finished parts carefully.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure features meet spec.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Make basic offsets and tool adjustments to stay within tolerance.
• Monitor tool wear, swap dull/damaged tools, and log changes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
• Complete production and inspection paperwork accurately.
