The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC setup and programming experience, Mazak Mazatrol programming is preferred, and a strong skill set in G-code/M-code, blueprints, and precision measurement is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC setup and programming experience.
• Experience with Mazak CNC lathes and machining centers.
• Mazatrol programming experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of G-Code and M-Code programming.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Edit and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or tooling adjustments as needed.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working order.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
