Arbour Counseling Services, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, offers a paid master’s level internship in mental health. Interns participate in in-home, group and outpatient therapy across clinics, homes, schools, and telehealth, under supervision by a licensed director.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master’s level program in a related mental health field.
• Must be able to complete a nine‑month internship.
• Valid driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle.
• Access to a personal computer and cell phone; monthly reimbursement.
• Knowledge of basic computer systems and the internet.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Bilingual encouraged.
• Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation.
• Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, and other pre‑employment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Interns will provide family therapy, lead groups or deliver outpatient treatment under supervision.
• Gain experience with insurance authorization, clinical documentation, diagnoses and treatment planning.
• Learn safety/risk management, care coordination, and HIPAA standards.
• Schedule is flexible depending on client availability.
