Job summary

Leidos is seeking a MAS Technical Engineer for the AEGIS program to provide architectural leadership and hands-on MAS implementation across NASA Enterprise operations. The role requires 8+ years in Maximo, advanced Linux, and experience with API management and identity solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, define integration standards, and support MAS deployments on OpenShift, MAF, and mobile configurations. On-site five days per week; U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.
• Advanced expertise in IBM Maximo architecture, automation scripting, the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), and REST API integrations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with BIRT reporting and Microsoft Power BI, including reporting requirements and data modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems, scripting, system operations, and performance management.
• Hands-on MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• Knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform and containerization for MAS deployments.
• Working knowledge of Maximo Mobile, SSO solutions, and MAF configuration.
• Experience developing automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Familiarity with secure API management and authentication frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with cross-functional teams.
• Experience using Jira Service Management or similar platforms for issue tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Lead technical design of Enterprise integration architecture supporting NASA Enterprise systems.
• Lead implementation and configuration of secure API management and authentication standards.
• Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring strategies for integrations.
• Perform complex application configuration and develop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Develop and maintain complex scripting for MAS configurations across environments.
• Configure and support Maximo Mobile, including SSO authentication implementations.
• Create application configurations in Maximo Mobile using the MAF Configuration application to modify MAS configurations.
• Manage and support MAS user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform data modeling to support BI reporting needs.
• Utilize Jira Service Management to manage and track technical issues and service requests.
