Job summary

Leidos is seeking a MAS Technical Engineer to lead the Maximo Application Suite environment for NASA Enterprise operations. You will architect, implement, and support MAS while driving API integration, SSO, and BI reporting capabilities.

The role demands 8+ years in Maximo, Linux proficiency, OpenShift containerization, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable MAS deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.
• Advanced expertise in IBM Maximo architecture, automation scripting, MIF, and REST API integrations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with BIRT reporting and Power BI, including data modeling.
• Strong Linux OS knowledge, scripting, and performance management.
• MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• OpenShift containerization and MAS deployments knowledge.
• MAS mobile, SSO, and MAF configuration experience.
• Experience with Jira Service Management or similar platforms and API security.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present project information to executives and center teams.
• Lead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Design enterprise integration architecture for NASA Enterprise systems.
• Lead secure API management and authentication standards implementation.
• Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring strategies for integrations.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Maintain MAS configurations across multiple environments.
• Configure and support Maximo Mobile including SSO implementations.
• Manage user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform data modeling to support BI reporting needs.
• Utilize Jira Service Management to manage issues and service requests.
