Job summary

At Leidos, we are seeking a MAS Technical Engineer to provide architectural leadership and hands-on MAS implementation for NASA Enterprise. The role requires 8+ years of Maximo experience and advanced Linux proficiency to ensure a secure, scalable MAS environment.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and adherence to enterprise standards. Responsibilities include design of integration architecture, API management, BI reporting, and scripting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.
• Advanced IBM Maximo architecture, MIF, REST API integrations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with BIRT reporting and Power BI data modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems, scripting, and performance management.
• Hands-on MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• Knowledge of OpenShift container platform and MAS deployments.
• Working knowledge of MAS-related SSO and MAF configuration.
• Experience developing automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Strong communication and ability to interface with cross-functional teams; on-site work five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present project-related information to executive, leadership, and center teams.
• Lead installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting activities for MAS.
• Lead technical design of Enterprise integration architecture supporting NASA Enterprise systems.
• Lead implementation and configuration of secure API management and authentication standards.
• Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring strategies for integrations.
• Perform complex application configuration and develop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Develop and maintain complex scripting for MAS configurations across multiple environments.
• Configure and support Maximo Mobile, including SSO authentication implementations.
• Create application configurations in Maximo Mobile using the MAF Configuration application to modify MAS configurations.
• Manage and support MAS user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform data modeling to support BI reporting needs.
• Utilize Jira Service Management (or comparable ticketing systems) to manage and track technical issues and service requests.
