Job summary

Shrive Technologies is seeking an experienced IBM Maximo developer/consultant to lead implementations, customizations, integrations, and ongoing support in a demanding enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on Maximo experience, strong EAM knowledge, and proficiency with Jython scripting, REST/JSON, and Oracle SQL. OpenShift and MAS familiarity are big pluses.

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management.
  • Hands-on experience with Maximo automation scripts using Jython.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise asset management (EAM) principles.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and JSON integrations.
  • Proficiency with Oracle database concepts and SQL.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions within IBM Maximo (configuration, automation scripts, customizations, and integrations).
  • Develop and maintain Maximo automation scripts using Jython to implement business logic and workflows.
  • Implement and consume RESTful web services and JSON-based integrations between Maximo and third-party systems.
  • Create technical documents and project deliverables; participate in reviews.
  • Provide production support: troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting performance, availability, and functionality.
  • Participate in end-to-end Maximo implementations, upgrades, and system migrations.
  • Perform system administration tasks in OpenShift platform.
  • Build and maintain Maximo reports (BIRT) and support Maximo mobility applications.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, stakeholders, and other technical teams; communicate status and issues clearly.

Job description

  • We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo developer/consultant with 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Maximo implementations, customizations, integrations, and support.
  • The ideal candidate has strong enterprise asset management knowledge, proficiency in Maximo automation scripting (Python), Java customizations, REST/JSON integrations, and experience with Maximo Application Suite and OpenShift is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions within IBM Maximo (configuration, automation scripts, customizations, and integrations).
  • Develop and maintain Maximo automation scripts using Jython to implement business logic and workflows.
  • Implement and consume RESTful web services and JSON‑based integrations between Maximo and third‑party systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Maximo integrations with external systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Yaml and DevOps practices for Maximo deployments.
  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and PODs deployments.
  • Experience with Python and/or JavaScript for scripting or front‑end customizations.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9 and higher.
  • Familiarity with Maximo BIRT reporting
  • Experience supporting production environments and participating in cutover/upgrade activities
