The Assistant General Manager role is the right hand to the General Manager in all aspects of our gym's management and daily operations, with emphasis on membership and personal training sales. This position oversees all operations within the health club, manages and leads the team in acquiring production goals that meet the business's financial needs for growth, ensures the highest quality of service for our members, works directly with the Assistant Manager on a daily basis to supervise the sales team, and creates a fun work environment for our employees and members.
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION. A successful assistant manager will have previous sales experience and/or previous employment in a gym.
As the leader of a team, you must inspire confidence, optimism, and trust with those around you. This means that a certain level of social intelligence is involved, as you will be working with many different personality types on staff and with members.
Compensation is a competitive base pay commission with frequent bonus opportunities.
