Job summary

Mattress Firm in Maui seeks a Delivery Driver to join our team. This role requires 21+ and a Tue-Sat schedule 8:00–4:30, with on-time, safe delivery of products and strong customer service. You will load, transport, and unload items, verify orders, and obtain signatures upon delivery.

Responsibilities include route adherence, daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining logs per regulations. A valid license, clean driving record, and a medical certificate are required upon hire; pay is up to

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years related experience preferred.
• Satisfactory driving record (Upon Hire).
• Valid Driver’s License (Upon Hire).
• Valid Medical Certificate (Upon Hire).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, receive, and provide documentation for the delivery or pick up of product to ensure timely service.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo.
• Operate a truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations. Size of truck is more than 3 tons.
• Obtain client and customer signatures as acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring proper set up and removal of old products in a safe manner.
• Maintain contact with router to receive instructions about scheduled delivery or pick up.
• Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules.
• Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.
• Responsible for daily vehicle inspection reporting and routine maintenance of vehicle and all other equipment provided.
• Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
• Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
• Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
• Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.
