Tempur Sealy is seeking a Mattress Assembler in Hagerstown, MD. In this full-time position, you will work in teams to assemble coil spring mattresses using pre-cut foam pieces and hot glue.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Lift and place mattress assemblies on tables with a partner.
• Insert foam pieces and glue them together using a hot glue gun.
• Repeat assembly process approximately 15 times per hour.

Two of them lift an encased coil spring mattress assembly (40-45 lbs. each) from the floor and place it onto the waist-high table. The semi-rigid foam pieces which are pre-cut are inserted into the perimeter of the spring assembly and are hot glued together (use of a hot glue gun).
