Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens coverage in Mississippi. The assignment features regular 10-hour shifts with a strong emphasis on rapid assessment and treatment in an Emergency Department setting.

The clinician must hold current NP credentials for emergency medicine and be able to participate in fast-paced, high-acuity care. AMN arranges malpractice insurance and coordinates travel, lodging, and transportation to support the contractor

Qualifications

• Emergency Medicine NP with current licensure and credentials.
• Locum tenens assignment experience preferred.
• Ability to perform in high-pressure emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency acute care to patients in a fast-paced ED.
• Cover scheduled shifts as an NP in Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver timely care.
