Duties:

Represent clients in all aspects of matrimonial and family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and equitable distribution

Draft and review pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements

Participate in court appearances, negotiations, and mediations

Analyze complex financial data, including business valuations and asset division

Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts

Assist in developing legal strategies and case management

Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and staff on active litigation matters

Requirements:

3–5 years of relevant legal experience in matrimonial/family law or transferable litigation experience

Demonstrated courtroom presence and legal writing skills

Experience handling emotionally sensitive, high-stress matters

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Financial literacy, particularly with regard to complex asset and income structures

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar
