Responsibilities

• Teaches a full-time course load as determined by the school, which may include elective classes or coaching responsibilities; additional compensation may be provided for extra duties.
• Delivers differentiated instruction based on identified student needs and learning styles.
• Utilizes a range of teaching techniques effectively and inquiry-based instruction whenever appropriate.
• Institutes effective classroom management routines and displays awareness of the whole classroom.
• Promotes global-mindedness throughout the curriculum.
• Serves as an advisor, providing small-group and one-on-one guidance and acting as the first point-of-contact for parents and teachers to support advisees.
• Supervises arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess.
• Performs other duties as defined by the Head of Middle School or Head of School.

• Serves as an advisor, providing small-group and one-on-one guidance and support in the students' academic, social and emotional learning and acts as the first point-of-contact for parents and teachers to provide holistic support for each advisee

• Other duties as defined by the Head of Middle School or the Head of School
