Father Gabriel Richard High School in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Mathematics teacher to educate students across Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Finance, Statistics, Precalculus, and AP Calculus AB. The role emphasizes igniting a love for mathematics and fostering a faith-filled learning environment.

You will collaborate with fellow teachers, mentor a House Group, and support the school’s Catholic mission while preparing engaging lessons and assessing student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and EX Certification is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Mathematics at the high school level preferred.
• Ability to teach Computer Programming a plus.
• Proven ability to manage a classroom of 20+ students.
• Skilled at developing and delivering lesson plans that engage students and lead to high academic achievement.
• Passionate about forming intentional disciples of Jesus Christ.

• Prepare lesson plans; take attendance; give assignments and tests; grade participation and performance; discipline students; meet with students and parents as needed to discuss issues.

Job Description:

• Teach Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Finance, Statistics, Precalculus, and/or AP Calculus AB to eager young minds.
• Instill in students a love for mathematics.
