Job summary

Richmond County School System seeks a Teacher to plan and provide engaging learning experiences aligned with RCSS curriculum. Under the supervision of the Principal, you will foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports the intellectual, social, and emotional development of students.

You will develop instructional plans, monitor student outcomes, maintain records, and collaborate with families and specialists to ensure Success for Every Student in a 10-month school year.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree or beyond.
• Must have a valid Georgia teaching certificate in the teaching field.
• Meets Georgia state certification requirements in appropriate field of education.

Responsibilities

• Plans a program of study that meets the needs, interests and abilities of individuals to ensure Success for Every Student.
• Maintains accurate and complete records as required by law and RCSS policy.
• Assists administration in implementing policies and rules governing student life and conduct.
• Provides an instructional program to meet the needs of all students including students with disabilities.
• Plans and supervises instructional assistants and volunteers.
