Job summary

Piedmont Technical College seeks a qualified Mathematics faculty member to provide instruction and leadership for the Mathematics department. The role includes planning, curriculum development, assessment, student advising, and coordinating full- and part-time programs to support transfer pathways.

The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral or master's degree in Mathematics or an equivalent advanced degree with substantial graduate coursework in the discipline, and experience at a two-year college

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a Master’s degree with concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum 18 graduate hours) from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, leadership, and coordination of the Mathematics department.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate full- and part-time programs, faculty, adjunct faculty, and related marketing efforts.
• Oversee curriculum development, assessment (program and student learning outcomes), student recruitment, enrollment, registration, advising, and retention efforts.

Master’s degree with concentration in Mathematics (18 graduate hours)
