Job summary

Kean University in Union, New Jersey is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach Mathematics at the undergraduate level across the Union main campus, Jersey City, and Kean Ocean. All adjuncts are non-tenure track and must hold a master's degree in a related field with teaching experience.

Proficiency in a Learning Management System is required; adjuncts provide office hours and may teach online classes for Kean Global.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field and teaching experience required.
• Candidates with ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D. or related doctorate encouraged.
• Proficiency in a Learning Management System is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics at the undergraduate level in-person at the main Union campus, Jersey City and Kean Ocean Campus.
• Provide at least one hour of availability outside class per week, per semester, with additional time for multiple classes.
• Schedule office hours and, as needed, offer online instruction through Kean Global.
