COMFORT SYSTEMS at Kean University is looking for Adjunct Faculty in General Education Math to teach undergraduate courses at the Union campus. Kean University is inviting applications for Adjunct Faculty positions to teach undergraduate general education math courses at the Union campus. Courses include Basic Algebra.
Educate students in in‑person class settings, implementing student‑centered teaching methodologies such as small‑group instruction, flipped classroom design, cooperative, inquiry, and project‑based learning. Provide a minimum of the following availability outside class hours per semester:
Office hours may be scheduled in person or virtually and are at the faculty member’s discretion beyond the minimum requirements.
All adjunct positions are non‑tenure track and require:
Adjuncts are enrolled in a state‑administered retirement plan when eligible and may be eligible to enroll in the Part‑Time State Health Benefits Program for medical and prescription drug coverage (see university website for details).
Faculty duties may be performed at any of Kean’s New Jersey campuses, including Union, Toms River, Jefferson Township, Jersey City, Brookdale (Middletown), Manahawkin, Princeton, and Trenton. Online teaching for Kean Global is also possible.
