We are seeking Reading and Math Tutors (including Upper Level Math and ACT preparation).

As a Sylvan Teacher/Tutor, you will provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students, helping them reach their educational goals. This position does not involve teaching large classes; instead, you will work closely with a small group of students. Enjoy a flexible schedule, with no lesson planning or homework to take home—just come and teach reading and math skills at our center.

Our center offers flexible hours between 4-8pm on weekdays and 9am-1pm on Saturdays. This role is ideal for individuals already in education or passionate about math and helping children love learning.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and educate students in a non-classroom setting
2. Utilize our curriculum to teach reading and math skills (no lesson planning required)
3. Work on skills to achieve educational milestones with students
4. Document and communicate student progress
5. Provide constructive feedback to students

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or related fields
2. Ability to build rapport with students
