Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a highly motivated Instructor to join our Albertville, MN team. You will work with K-12 students to help them understand and excel in math, fostering a positive, engaging learning environment.

The role supports flexible schedules for students and professionals, with instructional periods in the evening and weekend, and opportunities for professional development within a leading math-only center.

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude for math and a passion for STEM.
• High energy and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Make learning math fun for students
• Find joy helping K-12 students to improve their understanding of math
• Embrace the use and application of technology to facilitate custom, individualized learning plans based on each student's needs
• Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for parents & students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support that encourages professional growth
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure the success of all students
• Flexibility in learning a different style of teaching in order to best support students
