Job summary

Ampact, through Math Corps, is seeking tutors to work in local schools in Minnesota. You will lead small-group math sessions, track progress, and collaborate with an on-site coach to support student growth. Training is provided and experience is valued.

Positions run for the 2026-27 school year with daytime, weekday hours; part-time options exist at 25 hours per week. Applicants must be 18+ with a HS diploma and able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, navigating online).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions for groups of up to 3 students, 20–30 minutes each.
• Follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet with on-site coach regularly.
• Enter student scores into data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your tutoring experience with the community.
