Job summary

Mathnasium of Delaware, Ohio is seeking enthusiastic tutors to join our founding instructional team. You don’t need to be a professional teacher; strong math ability and clear communication with kids are what matter most.

As a Math Instructor, you’ll work face-to-face with students of all levels, use the Mathnasium Method, keep notes on progress, and help build genuine mathematical confidence. This part-time, in-person role offers a flexible schedule with weekday afternoons/evenings and Sundays,

Qualifications

• Strong math ability and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Experience tutoring, mentoring, coaching, SAT/ACT prep, STEM preferred.
• Patient, energetic, dependable with kids and teens.

Responsibilities

• Work face-to-face with elementary, middle, and high school students in a supportive learning environment.
• Help students understand why math works, not just memorize answers.
• Teach using the Mathnasium Method and customized student learning plans.
• Monitor several students during a session while giving individual attention.
• Encourage students, celebrate progress, and build mathematical confidence.
• Keep brief, accurate notes about student progress.
