Job summary

Think Zone Learning Center is seeking a part-time Math Tutor to help K-8 students build confidence in math after school. You will provide targeted, one-on-one instruction and support students in understanding math concepts through engaging activities.

The role offers 6-12 hours per week (with potential for more) at $19.00–$20.00 per hour, and a schedule designed to fit around classes and activities. Training and curriculum are provided, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in math and the ability to explain concepts clearly to younger students.
• Currently enrolled in high school or college (16+).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with a variety of learners.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Tutor K-8 students through personalized math instruction.
• Explain concepts in clear, student-friendly terms.
• Encourage problem-solving and confidence in math.
• Track progress using the Think Zone curriculum and resources.
