Job summary

Mathnasium of La Mesa South is looking for a math tutor to help K-12 students achieve mastery and confidence in math. You will teach in-center and online using the Mathnasium Method™, deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, and track student progress.

We value passion for math, strong people skills, eagerness to learn, and solid Algebra I-level math. This role offers part-time hours after school and on weekends, with a supportive culture and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through Algebra I or higher.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
