Indian Hills Community College seeks a part-time Math Tutor to support Talent Search participants at Cardinal Middle-Senior High School. Under the supervision of the Director of Pre-College TRIO Programs, you will provide consistent, small-group and individualized mathematics tutoring aligned with classroom instruction.
This grant-funded, non-exempt position is up to 12 hours per week during the school day, 193 days per the Cardinal district calendar.
Under the supervision of the Director of Pre-College TRIO Programs, the Math Tutor will provide consistent, small-group and individualized mathematics tutoring during the school day to Talent Search participants at Cardinal Middle-Senior High School. Tutoring will align with classroom instruction and focus on building skills in key mathematics content areas. The Math Tutor will collaborate with Cardinal teachers to identify student needs, monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly. As a member of the Talent Search project team, the Math Tutor will support achievement of project goals and objectives and comply with applicable federal and institutional requirements.
