Job summary

Options for Youth (OFY) is seeking a part-time tutor to provide targeted instruction to middle and high school students in a small classroom or one-on-one setting.

The role includes posting and marketing availability, maintaining a reliable schedule with supervision, and supporting teachers by tracking student progress and identifying areas for improvement. Proficiency in the subject matter and Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in the designated subject.
• Previous tutoring experience preferred.
• Proficient computer knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft software.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Range: $21.10 - $26.29 - Hourly – Depending on Experience Job is: Classified

OFY is a free non-profit public charter school serving students grades 7-12 who have fallen behind in school, are looking to get ahead and graduate early, or merely desire a non-traditional learning environment. OFY’s founders, John and Joan Hall, started the program in 1987 to provide at-risk and underserved students an alternative to traditional learning methods.
