Job Overview

Join our Math Team! Cambium Assessment is a leader in statewide online assessments. We develop standardized assessments for kindergarten through high school students, integrating cutting-edge technology with content expertise. We are seeking a Test Developer II with experience in mathematics content and test development to be a key member of our team.

Job Responsibilities

1. Use state item specifications to write effective items for various projects.
2. Conduct preliminary and content reviews independently.
3. Lead educator content review meetings, rubric validation, range finding, data review, and standard setting meetings.
4. Develop blueprints and translate them into item pool development plans.
5. Lead math item pool development for projects.
6. Communicate independently with state clients.
7. Potentially serve as a Math Content Lead or Team Lead.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field + 5-8 years’ experience in math assessment or education, or Master’s degree + 3-6 years’ experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Education and Assessment.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Collaboration skills.
• Required travel: 1 to 6 weeks per year, 2-6 days at a time.
