Youth Connection Charter School (YCCS) seeks a creative and energetic Math Teacher to serve students in a small alternative high school setting in Chicago, IL. You will build engaging lessons, use technology effectively, and foster trusted relationships with students.

You will collaborate with staff, report to the Principal, and contribute to a supportive, culturally aware learning environment that helps students graduate and succeed in careers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Illinois Professional Educator’s license with Secondary Math endorsement required.
• Passion for teaching off-track and out-of-school students.

Dedicated to serving off-track and out-of-schools students, Youth Connection Charter School was founded in 1997 to provide alternative learning pathways to high school graduation and career success. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching with an ability to engage students in the learning process, while creating good student relationships of mutual trust.
