Job Overview

Provide differentiated instruction with a variety of assessments in an environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with 5th - 8th grade and Math Endorsements.
• Multiple Endorsement areas preferred.
• Online application, resumé, and letters of recommendation required.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience teaching the specific class preferred; recent coursework or student teaching in the subject also considered.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.

Performance Responsibilities

• Demonstrate accurate, up-to-date knowledge of content and learning standards.
• Create a classroom climate conducive to learning.
• Utilize instructional management systems to maximize student learning.
• Differentiate instruction and monitor student progress.
• Plan and supervise assignments for assistants and volunteers.
