Job summary

KIPP Colorado Public Schools is seeking a Teacher for placement across middle or high school campuses in Denver. The role centers on leading rigorous, culturally sustaining instruction, planning and delivering standards-based lessons, and supporting MTSS interventions.

The position is a 10-month academic placement, exempt under FLSA, with duties including family outreach and collaboration with school leadership. Bachelor’s degree is required, and Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Spanish bilingual (preferred).
• Ability to participate in state/federal guidelines to meet ESSA criteria (required).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards-based instructional plans, including units, scope and sequences, and daily lesson plans.
• Plan rigorous lessons aligned to school deadlines and internalize for delivery.
• Use data to inform reteach and reassessment and provide student feedback.
• Implement IEPs, 504 Plans, ALPs, BIPs, and MTSS interventions with fidelity.
• Establish relationships with students and families built on trust and respect.
• Attend designated school functions and participate in ongoing professional development.
