Job summary

KIPP Colorado Public Schools in Denver seeks a dedicated Teacher to lead classrooms, plan rigorous lessons, and support students through MTSS, IEPs, and related plans. The role emphasizes culturally responsive instruction, collaboration with families, and active involvement in school duties.

The position is a 10-month, exempt role reporting to school leadership, with expectations for strong communication and professional growth within a dynamic urban district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Spanish bilingual (preferred).
• Ability to participate in ESSA-related events and guidelines (required).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience (highly preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Believe deeply in mission and commitments of RIDE.
• Assume personal responsibility for student achievement.
• Read, internalize, and adhere to KIPP Colorado Policies.
• Provide active presence and supervision to ensure student safety and engagement.
• Develop standards-based instructional plans and unit plans.
• Use data to drive instruction and adjust plans.
• Implement IEPs, 504 Plans, ALPs, BIPs, and MTSS with fidelity.
