Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida teaching certificate covering appropriate area of responsibility.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience managing business/department functions and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan program of study meeting individual needs, interests, and abilities.
• Assist in establishing curriculum objectives and evaluation plans.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Guide learning toward curriculum goals and communicate objectives.
• Employ instructional methods appropriate for stated objectives.
• Assess student progress and provide reports as required.
• Diagnose learning strengths/weaknesses and coordinate with District specialists.
