Hillel Academy of Pittsburgh seeks a Math Teacher to join our in-person faculty. You will plan standards-based lessons, differentiate instruction, and support student growth through data-informed teaching.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Education or Mathematics (Master’s preferred) and strong communication skills. This full-time position offers a collaborative, Jewish day school environment and meaningful professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Education or Mathematics required; Master’s preferred.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Enthusiasm for teaching in a Jewish day school environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-based math instruction for individuals and groups.
• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans.
• Provide instruction across math content areas aligned with grade-level expectations.
• Analyze student data to inform instruction and adjust teaching methods.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that supports respect and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and staff to improve teaching practices.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers about student progress.
• Participate in school initiatives, PD, and curriculum planning.
