Job summary

Sd308 is seeking a Math Teacher for an Ohio leave-cover assignment. The position runs from January 11, 2027 through March 4, 2027, with a daily rate of $125 for the first ten days and $150 for each additional day. Hours are 7:05am to 2:41pm.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid Illinois PEL with Mathematics Endorsement or equivalent, along with recent teaching experience in mathematics and strong communication skills. Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid/registered Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Mathematics Endorsement or equivalent for OH
• Recent teaching experience in mathematics or related subject
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods and current teaching techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, families, teammates

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons with clear instructional outcomes aligned to standards
• Create a respectful and productive learning environment with high expectations
• Engage students with clear instruction, questioning, and rigorous activities
• Assess student learning with timely feedback and adjust instruction accordingly
• Demonstrate professionalism, maintain records, and communicate with families
• Perform other duties as assigned to support teaching and learning
