Job summary

Envision Education seeks a Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at our Downtown Oakland Science Academy campus in Oakland. You will adapt and develop lessons aligned to network curriculum, participate in ongoing coaching, and build a strong classroom community.

You will differentiate for diverse learners, advise students, and collaborate with grade-level teams and families. Compensation includes an annual starting salary range with supplements for credentials and leadership, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• California teaching credential or out-of-state equivalent with transfer ability.
• Experience working with Black, African American, Latine/a/o/x, and immigrant families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adapt, Internalize, and Develop lesson and unit plans aligned to network curriculum.
• Participate in regular professional development and coaching cycles.
• Develop a strong sense of community and belonging in the classroom.
• Leverage student-facing data to differentiate for diverse learners.
• Serve as an advisor and teach daily advisory curriculum.
• Collaborate in grade level and department teams.
