Girls Global Academy in Washington, DC seeks a Math Teacher committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom where students explore and excel in math. The role includes contributing to curriculum development and supporting the school’s mission of academic excellence and female empowerment.

The teacher will design inquiry-based lessons, use data to differentiate instruction, and participate in advisory programs that prepare students for college and careers.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred, with concentration in content area.
• Secondary classroom experience in an urban context (three years preferred).
• Solid and demonstrable teaching experience with a variety of student academic levels.
• Ability to write a cohesive lesson plan.
• Lead extracurricular activities during and/or after school.
• Receive and incorporate feedback from team leaders, executive leadership and peers.
• Growth minded, receiving and incorporating feedback from team leaders, executive leadership and peers.
