  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective math lessons for students at various levels (e.g., middle school, high school, or advanced courses.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, including lectures, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and experiment.
  • Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments in alignment with the curriculum and educational standard.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to create and refine curriculum materials, ensuring they meet the needs of the school’s educational goals.
  • Offer additional support during office hours, study sessions, or one-on-one mentoring for students who require extra help or challenges.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Math Education, or a related field (master’s degree preferred for advanced courses or higher teaching role).
  • Prior experience teaching math at the middle or high school level, particularly in a private or independent school setting, is preferred.
  • Experience in designing and delivering hands-on experiments.
  • Experience with advanced courses (e.g., AP Math, IB Math) may be a plus.
  • In‑depth understanding of math principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Familiarity with educational technology tools, learning management systems, and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Ability to integrate technology effectively into math instruction, such as through simulations and multimedia presentations.
