Job summary

Fusion Academy in Scottsdale is seeking a dedicated Math Teacher to design personalized lessons for individual students in grades 5–12. You’ll schedule flexibly, collaborate with passionate colleagues, and contribute to a supportive school community focused on personal growth.

The role emphasizes mentoring, social‑emotional learning, and strong parent partnerships, with curriculum and resources provided to support a wide range of math courses.

Qualifications

As a Math Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Please note: Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5, and specific details will be shared during the interview process.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of math courses (Basic, Pre‑Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated, Pre‑Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
  • Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
  • Mentoring experience and a passion for social‑emotional learning.
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student‑centered environment.
  • Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem‑solve as needed.

Pay Range: USD $27.00 - USD $27.00 /Hr.
