Job summary

Oregon State University—Cascades in Bend, Oregon, invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track instructor positions to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2025-2026 academic year and Fall Term 2026. Appointments may be renewed or transitioned to instructional roles at the Dean's discretion.

Positions may start September 16, 2025, December 16, 2025, March 16, 2026, or September 16, 2026. Teaching areas include Math, Statistics, Applied Mathematics & Business Statistics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Analytics.
• PhD or terminal degree in a related field is preferred.
• Teaching experience at college/university level and commitment to undergraduate education.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Math, Statistics, and related areas.
• Complete course assessment processes and continuously improve teaching effectiveness.
• Advise students, hold office hours, maintain records and perform minor administrative tasks.
