Position Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Math Learning Center Director (Center Director) to create an engaging and productive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate is passionate about math and helping students succeed academically. They should be ambitious, highly motivated, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and approachable, with excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.

The Center Director inspires staff, fosters teamwork, and ensures a high-quality learning experience. They build relationships with guardians, improve efficiency, and drive profitability. The role requires balancing educational, customer service, administrative, sales, and staff management responsibilities, supporting team members' professional growth.

Applicants must pass a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Successful candidates will complete training in the Mathnasium Method. This is a full-time, salaried position.

Responsibilities

1. Manage all daily operations to ensure excellent student instruction
2. Administer assessments, diagnose learning gaps, and develop personalized learning plans
3. Ensure staff adhere to the Mathnasium Method, including individualized instruction in group settings
4. Maintain instructional excellence across in-person, online, and hybrid formats
5. Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships and communicating regularly with parents, guardians, and students
6. Drive sales by responding promptly to leads, building trust, and enrolling new students
7. Monitor center performance metrics, including profitability and student success
8. Handle customer complaints professionally and effectively
9. Hire, train, motivate, and develop staff to maximize engagement and efficiency
10. Build trust within the team, establish effective relationships, and nurture talent
11. Identify and develop team members professionally and personally
12. Manage employee scheduling, training, and coaching
13. Maintain a clean and professional learning environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in education, math, or related field
• Strong math skills through at least Algebra I
• Experience working with children
• Management or leadership experience (preferred)
• Customer relationship and sales experience (preferred)
• Proficiency with computers and management software
• Highly organized with multitasking ability
• Willingness to learn and undergo training
