Job summary

Catapult Learning is hiring Math Intervention Specialists (K-8) for the 2026-27 school year in Miami-Dade County. Two openings offer both part-time and full-time schedules during regular school hours, with pay at $27 per hour across multiple zip codes (33165 and 33129).

Teach math in small groups using our curriculum, support readiness and writing skills, and maintain student records. Positions emphasize advocacy for students and professional collaboration with schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach Math to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.

Responsibilities

• Teach Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting using Catapult's proven curriculum.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (attendance, testing, progress reports, parent communications).
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student forms and files as required by agencies.
• Maintain communication with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Details

Catapult Learning is seeking certified teachers or non-certified teachers with more than five years of experience, to provide small-group intervention servoces to K-8 grade students in Miami-Dade County schools.

Responsibilities

As a Certified Intervention Teacher you will:

• Teach Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting using Catapult's proven curriculum.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Other duties as assigned.
