Job Responsibilities:

1. Teach/tutor face-to-face in-center using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
2. Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
3. Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
4. Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
5. Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

Qualifications:

1. Live in the Madison, WI area
2. Willing to work in person in Verona, Sun Prairie or the west side of Madison, WI
3. Passion for math and working with students
4. Excellent interpersonal skills
5. Eagerness to learn and be trained
6. Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
7. Ability to balance various ongoing tasks

Hours of Instruction / Working Hours:

Scheduling is flexible:

Mondays thru Thursdays - 3:30pm to 8:00pm

Sundays - 1:00pm to 4:30pm

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a standard background check.
