Job summary

Mathnasium of Union City is seeking a part-time tutor to teach math in person after school and on weekends. You will use the Mathnasium Method™, work with a collaborative team, and help students in grades 1–12 develop understanding and confidence.

Ideal candidates are passionate about math, have strong interpersonal skills, and are eager to learn. Algebra I mastery is preferred, and the role requires balancing multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
