Job summary

Mathnasium of Powder Springs is seeking a Math Instructor / Tutor to teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, provide individualized instruction in a small-group setting, and assess students’ progress.

Ideal candidates are passionate about math, have excellent interpersonal skills, and are eager to learn; training is provided, curriculum and tools are supplied, with consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with K-12 students.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained in Mathnasium methods.
• Strong math competency through Algebra I or above.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
