Job summary

Mathnasium of Bettendorf is seeking friendly instructors to teach in-center and online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. You will work with small groups and individual students after school and on weekends, helping them build confidence in math.

We provide full training, curriculum, and instructional tools, plus supportive teamwork, ongoing development, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.

What you will do as an instructor

• Ability and desire to work 10-20 hours/week

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
