Job summary

A leading educational center in Plainville, Connecticut, is seeking passionate instructors to transform the lives of K-12 students. This role offers part-time opportunities with consistent hours after school and on weekends, allowing for a supportive work culture. Instructors will use the Mathnasium Method to provide personalized instruction and engage students in learning. Applicants should possess a strong passion for math, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency through Algebra I. Continuous training is provided to enhance teaching effectiveness.

What you will do as an instructor

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
