Job summary

Mathnasium of Ontario Ranch, CA is seeking a dedicated Math Instructor / Tutor to join our team. You will teach in-center and online using the Mathnasium Method, deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, assess student progress, and help students build confidence in math after school and on weekends.

We provide a flexible, supportive work environment with ongoing training, all necessary curriculum and instructional tools, and clear opportunities for advancement within a fun team

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Strong math ability through Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Work collaboratively with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement during instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
